We keep as little as we can, for as short a time as we can. This policy explains what we process when you use dettalo.com.
Who is responsible

What we process and why
- Your file and its transcript, to provide the service you ask for: the free preview and, after an order, the full transcript.
- Your email address, given at checkout, to send you the link to your files, the order confirmation and, if you ask, your links again. No newsletter.
- Payment data is handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status, the payment method type and the amount, never your full card number.
- Technical data: your IP address is used to protect the service from abuse (daily limits) and stored only as a salted hash; your country sets the currency.
- Names and terms you type in, to spell names right.
How long we keep it

Who else processes your data
- Cloudflare (hosting, storage, email sending, AI gateway).
- ElevenLabs (speech recognition) and, if it is unavailable, AssemblyAI. They receive the audio of your file.
- Anthropic (Claude), through Cloudflare's AI Gateway, receives the transcript to write the edited version. Logging in the gateway is switched off.
- Stripe (payments).
- Google Ads, only with your consent where required: a cookie to measure whether an ad led to an order. No ad personalisation.
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, object to processing, and complain to a data protection authority. The quickest way to delete everything is the refund button on your order page within 7 days, or an email to hello@dettalo.com.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. The page remembers your language choice and consent in your browser's local storage. Google's measurement cookie is used only as described above; you can change your choice any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
